Description
The boots belong to Claude Sparks, the cowboy wearing them. This guy is as legit as they come when it comes to cowboy status. In his 80s now, I shot this photo 10 years ago and he's still working cattle and doing all the things a cowboy does. Ornery and all! The quilt is one his family made for him to take on the Oklahoma Centennial Chisholm Trail Cattle Drive in 2007. This year, 2017, is the 150th anniversary of the Chisholm Trail Cattle Drive.
