Wagons on the Trail. Shot in September 2007, during Oklahoma's reenactment historic cattle drive honoring the Chisholm Trail way of life. This image has been published in American Cowboy and is the cover of the book I wrote about the '07 drive.
2017 was the 150th anniversary of the Chisholm Trail cattle drive.

Oh there's quite a story behind this. I didn't have to plan a trip. My boss gave me the day off after deadline so I could go cover it for my own personal fun! It came right through our community!
