Description
A tiny mushroom, less than one-inch in size, grows out of the dirt in a potted container in which a medical marijuana plant exists. This could be said it is a symbiotic relationship of two organisms in nature. It is amazing to me how, if treated properly, in the growing stage, that a plant can be beneficial to its surroundings. Creating a green environment, with a variety of plants, flowers and fungi, benefits living creatures, like frogs and toads, birds, snakes and more.
symbiosis: interaction between two different organisms living in close physical association, typically to the advantage of both.
Mushrooms are fungi. They exist in a kingdom of their own, separate from plants and animals. Fungi differ from plants and animals in the way they obtain nutrients. Plants make their food using the sun's energy (photosynthesis.)
This is another image from my son and his girlfriend, who goes by TEKE Photography. I have a collection established here for his work. Sales from his work will go to him to support his family.
