Description
Photographed July 23, 2010, a view of St. Joseph Bay from outside the Sunset Coastal Grill, a popular fine dining restaurant in Port St. Joe, Florida. Unfortunately, this entire area was destroyed by Hurricane Michael in October 2018. It appears that for now, there will be no rebuild, as evidenced by the social media posts on their Facebook page.

I decided to get curious on FB again, and found that THIS WEEKEND (Labor Day 2022) is a soft opening, by reservation, at the former Sunset Coastal Grill. Now it will be known as The White Marlin, in the location of Sunset Coastal Grill that was destroyed by Hurricane Michael on October 10, 2018." I know that when my husband and I took our anniversary trip in 2010, we loved dining at the Grill; and we were bummed to learn of its demise in 2018, after the hurricane. Knowing that little community will again have a nice dining establishment is fantastic!
