Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

Oklahoma became the 46th state to gain statehood November 16, 1907. The state is known for its red dirt, Chisholm Trail, prairie atmosphere, windy weather and rural lifestyle. It's history includes the Land Run and Chisholm Trail. I created this image starting with a photo of a rusted old tow truck Ford 50 that I shot on a rainy day. I added many layers of elements until I came up with this final image. This would make a great conversation starter. Imagine it as large as you can, I think anything less than a 20x30 or thereabout size would just not do it justice.

Everyone needs a once in a lifetime experience. You know the kind. One that leaves a lasting impression and even changes how you look at life, how you look at your surroundings. I wrote that in a book I published in 2009, "Riding the Chisholm Trail: Once in a Lifetime" after I had that experience that changed the way I looked at the world around me. Now 10 years later, that single day and the two years it took me to edit the images and write the stories in that book, I realize it continues to impact me. It's given me a new appreciation of our country's history and what it took for our pioneers, my ancestors, to forge what we now enjoy and many times undervalue. While it took me most of my life to appreciate these things, reflection...
