Artist's Description

Discovered these dolls in this Coca-Cola wooden box in an antique/thrift store and it was like finding some old friends. I had four of these when I was a little girl and for all I know, these could be them. Decided to create some digital art from the original image I shot. I started to call it Postmark from the Past, but wanted a bit of humor in the title.

Everyone needs a once in a lifetime experience. You know the kind. One that leaves a lasting impression and even changes how you look at life, how you look at your surroundings. I wrote that in a book I published in 2009, "Riding the Chisholm Trail: Once in a Lifetime" after I had that experience that changed the way I looked at the world around me.
