Description
A bowl of fresh farm eggs with speckles, sit in a family heirloom bowl owned passed down by my grandma, and the baby quilt she made for me. Grandma was born in 1882 and died when she was 90 years old. She was most definitely a pioneer and raised her children through some most difficult times - dust bowl, depression, wars, as did my mama, her daughter. If that's not the spirit of the west I don't know what is! I wish that I had titled this image differently, but changing a title throws things off in search terms. I may upload the image again with a new title.
