Description
A bowl of fresh farm eggs in a variety of browns, creams, yellow and white, get their spotlight in an antique yellow stoneware bowl handed down from my grandmother from the late 1800s. It is one of my treasures and only farm eggs could do it justice as that is how I imagine her as a young woman, collecting eggs on the farm.

Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments on this image. It shows you took time to read the description and I encourage everyone to look around their home and tell their family stories through the objects of time!

Love your egg studies. You have taken this everyday subject and shown it through an artist's eyes. fav

Anne, that is such a lovely thing to say. I appreciate it so much! Glad you like these!

How beautiful to pay tribute to your grandmother!! I never thought eggs, in a very special bowl of course, could be so inspiring. Of course it is the meaning behind it, but it moves me. So precious the things we treasure for the most beautiful of reasons!
Toni Hopper replied:
Sharon, thank you! I think so many times we don't think about telling "our story" in this way but I try!
