This is Eldon Craig, age 78, September 2007 - Chisholm Trail Cattle Drive, Oklahoma Centennial. I featured Mr. Craig, he said just call him Eldon, in a book I published in 2009.
He was so much fun to talk to! "Somebody asked me why I was still in good health. I said, a good wife, good food and good whiskey, but be careful with the whiskey!" I originally titled this "Old Cowboy."

There is a great story behind this guy. He was the oldest one on the drive. Two years later when I called him up to interview him, he had just come in from harvest. He's definitely a true blood American cowboy.
