An extremely large piece of outdoor art in hues of umber, red, rust, crafted by Oklahoma artist, Steve Southerland. He travels around the western half of the United States to deliver and sell his art to clients. This piece I believe was about 7 feet tall. A beautiful blue sky with white fluffy clouds serves as a perfect backdrop for this sculpture the day I photographed it.

It's given me a new appreciation of our country's history and what it took for our pioneers, my ancestors, to forge what we now enjoy and many times undervalue. While it took me most of my life to appreciate these things, reflection...

This is a dynamic shot Toni; we need the rainmaker out here in southern Oregon right now. The drought is terrible, some Farmers can't even water their crops - pray for rain!!!
Toni Hopper replied:
Thanks Joyce and you are so right! It's hard to imagine Oregon in a drought, but it's been that way for a few years. We have family up there.
