Note: This image is limited in size as I shot this in 2005. These three gentlemen look like they stepped out of the Tombstone set, but it was a writer's festival and chuck wagon meal in Waurika, Oklahoma. There was no posing, I really just watched and waited until I saw a great moment to photograph. This event happened at what was the Chisholm Trail Museum in Waurika. It has been closed for many years.

Everyone needs a once in a lifetime experience. You know the kind. One that leaves a lasting impression and even changes how you look at life, how you look at your surroundings. I wrote that in a book I published in 2009, "Riding the Chisholm Trail: Once in a Lifetime" after I had that experience that changed the way I looked at the world around me.
