Description
Facing the rising sun.
Tepees are normally situated with the doorway to the rising sun, but if weather is bad, they can be located in any direction to suit the owner. Tepees are usually placed in a circular pattern so that children could play in the center with watchful eyes.
These tepees were on display at a hot air balloon in Anadarko, Oklahoma, Caddo Nation of Oklahoma. Anadarko is known for its many indigenous artists.
I purposely composed in camera some of these images to show a hint of other tepees.
I realized after adding this image to my gallery that this has a dreamlike quality, and imagine what it would have been like to live in the 1700s.

Hello Heidi. Very nice softening and glow effect to give this one a surreal feel. Love the perspective. Nicely done!!
